Diagnostics
The Pet Hospital of Madison offers a multitude of diagnostic services. We place special emphasis on performing a complete diagnostic workup to find the answers of your pet's ailments.
Computerized Radiography (X-rays): Health care is becoming more advanced and specialized, computerized radiography offers veterinarians sharper images with greater detail than traditional technologies currently used by most veterinary hospitals. Our images are obtained faster and can be digitally enhanced, magnified and rotated to aid the veterinarian in making a diagnosis. This means less retakes of x-rays and thus less stress for our feline patient.
Ultrasonography: Ultrasound is a vital diagnostic tool for modern veterinary medicine. Abdominal ultrasound provides a wealth of useful information to aid your veterinarian at making a diagnosis that is virtually quick and painless.
Echocardiography: This is an ultrasound of the heart. Echocardiograms provide a wealth of information for our pets who are showing signs of heart problems. With this procedure we are able to diagnosis and monitor your pet's heart condition and insure we are administering the correct therapy.
